Last updated: September 4, 2026
Section 1
Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Clique (“Clique,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Clique marketing site, mobile applications, and web application (together, the “Service”). It applies to creators, brands, and visitors. It does not cover third-party sites you may reach through links in the Service, which have their own privacy practices.
Section 2
Information we collect
Account and profile information. Name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), account type (creator or brand), profile details such as niche, portfolio links, rates, and company information for brand accounts.
Campaign and messaging content. Campaign briefs, pitches, contract terms, in-app messages, and delivered content submitted through the Service.
Payment information. When you fund a campaign or set up payouts, our payment processor (currently Stripe) collects payment details such as card or bank account information directly. Clique receives limited transaction data from the processor (for example, amount, status, and payout destination type) but does not store full card or bank account numbers on our servers.
Usage and device data. Pages visited, features used, referring URLs, device type, browser, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar diagnostic data, collected automatically as you use the Service.
Cookies and similar technologies. We and our analytics provider use cookies and comparable technologies to remember preferences and to understand how the Service is used, as described in the “Cookies and analytics” section below.
Section 3
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Create and maintain your account, and let you build a creator profile or brand workspace.
- Operate the core marketplace features: campaign discovery, pitching, messaging, contracts, and escrow payments.
- Process payments and payouts through our payment processor, and calculate the applicable platform fee.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- Send account, campaign, and payment notifications, and respond to support requests.
- Understand aggregate usage of the marketing site and product so we can improve them.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Section 6
Data retention
We retain account and campaign information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and financial record-keeping obligations (including payment and tax records related to funded campaigns), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymize it.
Section 7
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most profile information directly in the Service, or contact us at legal@cliquehub.co to make a request.
We will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by applicable law. We may need to retain certain information, such as payment and tax records for completed campaigns, even after an account is closed, where we have a legal obligation to do so.
Section 8
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including encryption in transit, access controls, and delegating payment card handling to a PCI-compliant payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Section 9
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at legal@cliquehub.co so we can delete it.
Section 10
International data transfers
Clique and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers consistent with applicable data protection law.
Section 11
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the Service.
